What I need to know? (Part 1)
Early child development is a field that with time is growing more and more. This field helps children step out of their comfort zone and experience a tremendous amount of opportunities to further their skills and overall knowledge. By having one's child attend some sort of daycare facility it is exposing them to what elementary and middle school will be like. On the other hand having a nanny or babysitter causes the child for most cases to develop some sort of anxiety. This is why most experts highly recommend daycare's at the earliest age possible. What I already know? (Part 2) Every child is and unique in their own way, it can be very difficult or easy to interact with a child. There are an abundant amount amount of issues, and/or disabilities that a child can have. The outcome all depends how you go on about a situation of a child. Working with kids is like having a surprise every day. Depending all their moods, can play a factor whether or not the entire class has a good day. Many kids have separation anxiety with objects or their parents. Getting them to let go of this is a task, but it can be done. The placement of the classroom a child is in a crucial to how much and what they will learn. Research (Part 3) As I begin to conduct my research to answer my question of “How to categorize a child’s development through an intellectual test?” I asked, I searched, and tested. I read through many many articles and asked questions at my internship. Those were my main sources, the teacher, therapists, and nurses really helped me through it all. I wanted to learn more about the child’s body and way of thinking. This would help me determine where the child needed to be placed, or what other help was need for him/her to strive. WHAT I DISCOVERED (Part 4) I learned so many new things about the human brain and how emotions were controlled. How kids react or do not react to certain things. This also helped me learn a lot about the field I wanted to be in. With this knowledge and experience I am sure, my research will help my internship facility. |
